I've added my site to buy star trek dvds to the Carl's Guides network. This is a static site. I really threw it together to make some small reviews of the various star trek seasons and provide another place to buy star trek merchandise.

This is probably the last of such moves. I plan to buy domains for all of these but want them on the main domain to help them to be found. On the site development front, things are going to begin moving forward soon, as I'm going to purchase a game to do a walkthrough for and make a few reviews.

Within this upcoming year I hope to be able to provide these quality walkthroughs for games that are just off the shelves. It will be a tough challenge, financially, but I think it's not unreasonable to shoot for that goal.

I've been a really busy guy since I started my job cleaning at Senior Village. I wasn't used to manual labor so it's taking me time to adjust, but I expect its affect of halting site development to end fairly shortly.

I wish all my visitors a Merry Christmas

Carl's Guides grows ever larger and more useful thanks to recent user submissions. Klas Mattsson submitted a new strategy for twilight of the gods, the final mission of the night elf campaign in warcraft 3.

Also, James submitted an additional strategy for USA Mission 5 in Command and Conquer Generals. This was somewhat a tough mission, and his strategy seems to be a good one. In fact, combined with mine it makes the mission much easier.

I appreciate submissions. They only serve to improve the quality here, keep them coming!

I tweaked my page to Buy the Xbox 360 console. The high sales are making them hard to come by, thus inflating the price. Still, if you're out to get an Xbox 360 before Christmas, you're likely going to have to pay the higher price. I think most console launches go this way lately, especially something so popular. The same thing happened with the Playstation 2 on its launch.

Finally, I made a page to buy the Xbox 360 live gold card kit. The kit includes a headset and marketplace points, as well as 12 months prepaid on 360 live. This would be a good gift for someone already receiving an Xbox 360 for Christmas. Note that they'll require an internet connection (should be broadband) to access Live. Site development will be returning to normal soon. I've rented a playstation two for a while and will be taking it back. I wanted to try it out, because I plan to make a site for it soon. I'll be able to migrate reviews and such over if I ever make a ps3 site. Talk about backward compatability.
