Runescape Weapon: Dragon Longsword

The Dragon Longsword can only be worn after completing the Lost City quest. The Dragon Longsword has the following stats:

Attack Bonuses
Stab: +58
Slash: +69
Crush: -2

Defense Bonuses
Slash +3

My Thoughts:
Considering that the Lost City quest isn't that hard, the dragon longsword is quite a prize. Completing the quest doesn't net you this awesome weapon, but you will be allowed to both wield it and buy it from the shop in the lost city of Zanaris. The price is around 100,000 gold, so don't expect to buy it with your chump change. You'll also need a cut diamond to get into the area in the city where it is sold.

The longsword has excellent attack and strength stats and should be the first weapon you get after reaching level 60 attack. Its strength, considering its speed, makes it a good bit better than the rune scimitar. That's not to say that it blows it away, but it is definitely a nice step in the right direction.

The dragon longsword has a special attack, called cleave. The attack isn't that impressive but it carries an increased attack and strength rating, making you less likely to miss and more likely to deal increased damage to your opponent in combat. The attack consumes 25% of your special attack energy, which is not so bad considering the possibility of high damage.

With its low price and being fairly easily replaced, the Dragon longsword is a good candidate for a pk weapon. You won't cry if you lose it, and can simply buy another. You'll feel its loss in your bank account however.
