Runescape Weapon: Wolfbane

This sword is the reward for the Priest in Peril quest (members only). Wolfbane has the ability to prevent werewolves you're fighting from taking their lycanthrope forms. This weapon is most useful in Canifis, where the citizens are werewolves. If you ever lose Wolfbane, you can get another by talking to Drezel in the underground temple before Canifis. Wolfbane has the following stats:

My Thoughts:
This weapon is quite fast, as it is a dagger-class weapon. Its main use is against the citizens of Canifis, who will turn into werewolves at the beginning of combat. They can go from a level 24 man to a level 88 werewolf in the blink of an eye. Killing them with Wolfbane is much easier than fighting a werewolf. Another thing to note is that the women and men prior to changing drop some of the same items as their wolf counterparts, which can include rune medium helms (both men and women) and half-keys (men). Still, I don't like this item very well because even though you can kill the men and women easily, it still takes a while to do so, comparably to using a rune scimitar to fight a wolfman or woman. Also, the werewolf forms of these citizens seem to drop their rare items more often than their low-level counterparts. Finally, removing Wolfbane while fighting a citizen of Canifis will cause them to instantly shapeshift into their superior forms, healing them back to full health.
