Start this quest by speaking to the Gypsy in Varrock. She's in a tent near the clothing store, which is near the center of the city. Ask her to read your future and she'll reveal that you're destined to kill Delrith, a demon who almost destroyed Varrock 150 years ago. In order to beat him, you'll need the sword Silverlight, which is his only weakness. You'll also need to deliver the final blow while saying a magical incantation. This phrase is 'Carlem Aber Camerinthum Purchai Gabindo'.

In order to get the sword you'll need to speak to Sir Prysin, who is in the Varrock Palace. He's located in a room on the western side of the palace. When you talk to him, tell him Gypsy Aris sent you, and that you need to find Silverlight. Further, tell him that Delrith's coming back and you have to deal with him. He'll tell you the location of all three keys. His has fallen into a drain and will have to be recovered. The other two are held by two other people.

The first key you should get is held by Captain Rovin in the Palace. You can find him by heading to the northwestern corner of the castle and climbing two sets of stairs. Tell him that it's important you speak to him and that a demon wants to invade the city. He'll hand over the key, allowing you to continue.

Now head back to the ground floor of the castle to the kitchen (all the way to the northeast). Climb up the stairs and grab a bucket from the room to the east. Go back down and use the bucket with the sink to fill it with water. You can then proceed out the kitchen door to the east. You'll see a drain on the side of the palace. Use the bucket with the drain and the key will be flushed into the sewers below.

Head back out the castle walls and head east until you get to the fountain. At this point, turn north and you'll come across a manhole in the ground. Open it, then descend the ladder. When you get there, take the northwestern-most passage and you'll come across the key in a small room littered with corpses.

Now go to the bank and free up some inventory space. All you should have with you are the keys. Head out the south gate of Varrock and follow the road until you come to some chickens at a farm on the western side of the road. There are usually lots of bones here which you can pick up. Kill some chickens if you have to, until you have 25 bones. Take the feathers you see there, too, as they have several applications in the game and only take up one inventory space.

Proceed south until you get to Lumbridge. Your destination is the Wizard's tower southwest from there. Note that you may need to proceed north around Lumbridge castle to get past the town, using your world map if necessary. When you reach the wizard's tower, head to the second floor by climing the staircase in the western room. You'll find him in a room to the east. Tell him you need the key, then ask if he has any keys knocking around. He'll say that he needs 25 bones (which you have). Give them to him by talking to him again. He'll perform a ritual and give you the key, allowing you access to Silverlight. Now return to Varrock and talk to Sir Prysin once more.

Prysin will give you Silverlight. You can find Delrith in the stone circle south of Varrock. Be sure you're wielding Silverlight and attack him. Select the incantation you were told earlier (Carlem Aber Camerinthum Purchai Gabindo). Delrith will be once more bound to the vortex, and you will have completed the quest, granting you ownership of Silverlight. If you ever lose it, you can buy another from Sir Prysin.
