I've had a lot of fun playing World of Warcraft. In fact, I'm certain it will remain one of my favorite games for years to come. What makes WoW so fun is that it is an immersive game that you can play with other people. As with any good MMO, you are able to step outside the real world and become a part of another. There are many rude and ignorant people in this "dream world" but there are also many great friends to be made. Many of my screenshots here come from my old guild Odin's Bloodline. We've since moved on to form the guild Blessed Silence, but I'll always remember the early days of Odin's Bloodline as both fun and exciting.

Some of my friends have moved on, and may never return. Such is life when your friendships are based on a game, but good screenshots, like pictures in reality, can help us to remember our friends and the fun times we had with them.

The Alterac Valley battleground sucks when the enemy pin half your team at the base. This happens all too often.
Ahh, Alterac Valley. This is one of the reasons I just don't have much of a stomach for battlegrounds. I play them just enough to get the gear I want. Dying over and over trying to get past a wall of horde isn't my idea of fun ok?
Yet another lovely world of warcraft sky. This is a nice shot showing the transition from day to night in the game.
Is this morning or evening? Probably evening. An interesting thing about world of warcraft is that there is an actual time system with day and night cycles.
Hellfire peninsula's glorious, yet eerie sky. It makes you feel like you're high on something.
Hellfire peninsula has probably the wildest sky in all of world of warcraft. This screenshot was taken by me on my first trip to outland. Man I was impressed.
The Raging Colossus of hellfire peninsula is pretty big, isn't it?
I have no idea how I got a shot like this. Taken by the temple of telhamat during the colossal menace quest chain. Lorthanis and Thorsthunder came and gave me a hand with it, and I came up with an interesting screenshot.
The boat, which carries you from the Eastern Kingdoms to Kalimdor provides a nice view while you wait
From my old mudding days, I've hated waiting for boats to take me somewhere. World of Warcraft's boats aren't as bad though, thankfully you teleport across the ocaan and get nice views along the way.
Coming in for a landing at Gadgetzan
Tanaris is especially beautiful at night, but then you'd have to play late to see that.
A demon in world of warcraft's outland. They look cartoony as most of the game does, but they still manage to come off menacing.
My fair paladin smacking a demon around. Tyrlena was never a powerhouse, but it always took a damn long time to kill her at the lower levels. Thankfully, this demon isn't as strong as he looks.
I really have to pat myself on the back for this one. A great screenshot of a fel reaver.
Those fel reavers are terrifying no matter what level you are! Somehow, in my rush to get away from the damn thing I managed to get a really cool screenshot!
Paladin level 40 mount. It's not as impressive as the pally's charger they get later.
Ahh the war horse, a free mount was nice at 40, but once you've rode an epic they seem so slow.
mmmm helboar bacon. These are a nuisance on hellfire peninsula.
That's one big pig. World of warcraft has it all, from fair maidens to possessed pigs.
Burning Crusade added some new flair to the cookie cutter quests of the original World of Warcraft
It was neat doing this quest for the first time, you set some flares and the gryphon bomber squadrons fly in and dish some justice.
The pit lord Magtheridon
Someday, I'll fight that guy. You can see him from blood furnace. He's absolutely massive, and should make a challenging battle.
Zangarmarsh wasn't my favorite area, but nice quests!
Zangarmarsh is one of the least popular areas in outland, with the exception being its multiple instances. I sucked it up and made some awesome xp in this zone from the abundant quests.
Hammer of Wrath. I always loved this skill.
Paladins get a spell called hammer of wrath which deals huge damage to enemies that are below 20% health. This screenshot caught the hammer in flight, pretty cool.
A bog lord from zangarmarsh.
Bog lords are another type of massive creature, although not particularly powerful. They're one of the many strange creatures in outland.
Paladin and Warrior side by side.
My character, along with Lorthanis from my guild. Lor looks pretty intimidating in this shot. Blizzard did a nice job on the textures for characters in the game.
