Warp Prisms are the Protoss transport units. They are soft and slow for air units, so it's best to know your destination. They can be upgraded for a speed boost in Multiplayer.
Warp Prism Special Abilities and Upgrades
Warp Prisms are not only transports. They also possess the ability to transform into temporary Pylons, providing a means of powering Protoss buildings in the field. With the Warp Gates upgrade for your Gateways, it also provides a destination for your units to warp. This can and should be in enemy territory, although it's also helpful for quickly bringing in reinforcements.
Warp Prisms have a size capacity of 8 and can carry 1 Colossus, 4 Zealots/Stalkers/Dark or High Templar, or 2 Immortals/Archons. Sentries and Probes take up only 1 slot.
