"Let's rail some vehicles!" This is a fun mission for a number of reasons, but primarily because you get to use your first zone trooper squadrons! But not until after you're bombarded with mission objective briefings. First, take your infantry north and eliminate the NOD guarding the area, then use your engineer to snag the tiberium spike. This will give you a steady flow of money. I recommend first building an engineer and a couplezone trooper squads.
Take the engineer and zone trooper, along with the infantry you started with to the north as a group, maneuver them about and kill NOD scum and capture the tiberium spike with your engineer. In the meantime, build some missile squads, zone troopers and snipers, to join your others. Don't forget an engineer, as they are needed for a mission objective to capture the spikes. Remember not to let your base be undefended, as the brotherhood are sneaky bastards and will attack in small numbers that could cause an embarrasing loss should they take out your barracks. The sniper drop is good early on for this reason, but don't forget about the possibility of air attacks!
Move your force around the mountain and to the south. From there you can capture a second spike. Pause there, to guard it, while you acquire an even larger army. Once you've reinforced, head east and take out the joke that is the NOD outpost. You can keep steamrolling them from there, sending reinforcements if necessary.
