Your first step in this mission is to defend your base from a relentless NOD assault coming from all sides. Three NOD bases are responsible. An air base to the south, an infantry base to the southwest and a vehicle base to the northeast. You have limited power available, so use of the X hotkey to enable and disable buildings from the power grid is highly recommended. Always keep your anti-air disabled, as the air attacks early on are not very prevalent. Enable and disable air as the enemy sends them.

The first thing you should do in the mission is build a second harvester to improve your income. While it's being built, take your pitbull to the south of your base (quickly!) to snag three crates with 1000 tiberium each! This is a major economic boon, as the demands of production early on are high. As for what to do with the power, my personal preference was to send two predators each to the eastern and northern sides, and turn on one of the guardian cannons each there.

Once you're set up, with the second harvester going, you'll want to begin to prepare for an assault. A dozen or so APCs loaded with missile squads will do the trick! Afterward, start churning out predator tanks to defend your base from vehicles. Send the APCs to the Southwestern base. Level the base, beginning with the defenses, then the barracks. When this base is down, your defensive efforts will become much easier, as no further infantry will harass you. However, the northeastern and southern bases will appropriately scale their assaults. Air is still not a problem, but vehicles will come in greater number.

The next phase will take place after the NOD base to the southwest has been destroyed and you've regrouped. With the base gone, you will no longer need the sentry guns to the west and south, so can feel free to sell them, assuming the convoy has already arrived and the secondary objective is met.

Escorting the convoy is a cinch, with a little foreknowledge. Take your APCs (who hopefully survived combat) to the north to eliminate the NOD laser turret and garrisoned buildings. After it's down, quickly move your APCs to the south to prevent nod rocket infantry from garrisoning structures. Don't worry if they do, just take them out. Getting the MCV back to the base unharmed is as simple as taking your time. With the NOD infantry base gone, it's really a lot easier than destroying the vehicle base first. Hopefully, back at your base you've managed to form an army of a dozen or so predator tanks. Take your APCs back to the base for repair and join them with all your tanks and APCs and crush the northeastern NOD base.

Money is starting to get tight at this point, so an expansion to the north is wise. Build a surveyor, command post (for AA batteries) and another refinery and place them to the north. Money can be raised by selling the guardian cannons, at this point. If you need a second expansion take your pick between the northeastern and southwestern areas that NOD had previously controlled. When your tiberium is flowing in again, build another dozen APCs, a dozen missile squads, and an airfield. Load the missile squads into APCs and then get up 6000 tiberium (12x500) for the call transport ability. North of the NOD air base is a small jut of land that can be used to land your APCs. There is weak ground defense in this base, and the APCs should have little trouble clearing it.
