This is a very fun mission. You are forced to hop chasms to build multiple expansions. Your first priority is to build a crane, then power plant/refinery. Once you have a power plant, build sentry towers to the north and eastern side of your base. Use the zone troopers in conjunction with these anti-infantry guns to halt any early attacks. Afterward, set out to build a war factory and four refineries (sell two) to get your economy booming. Produce APCs from the war factory to provide anti-air defense.
Build eight more APCs than the six or so you will use to provide mobile AA and load six with zone troopers and two with engineers. Head to the south side of the base, near the eastern chasm. Use the call for transport button when you are as far south as possible, then land the eight APCs on the eastern side (again far south). You will likely take some hits, but the team is more than enough to clear the enemy outpost and its minor defenses there. Use an engineer to capture the expansion point, then drop two refineries and a sonic emitter there.
Treat this new expansion like a base. Build a war factory there as well as an anti-air turret or two. Build six more APCs and zone troopers to push into the Scrin base to the east where they have built a rift generator. Wait until it's built to mount this attack to secure the secondary objective.
Take this group to the east, past the tiberium field and to the north where a small base can be destroyed. Your zone troopers can also hit the shield generator from the ridge there. A second expansion can be made here later, if needed. For now, focus on making an army of zone troopers/APCs and a few mammoths at your blue tiberium field base. An ion control is very useful as well. Send your forces out around the area clearing Scrin and taking out the generators. With each generator, the Scrin will open a wormhole and bring in reinforcements.
It will not be too hard on you to finish this mission even if you have some setbacks, so long as you do not lose control of the ridge by foolishly letting devastators attack your expansions. When you've destroyed all three of the generators, fire the ion cannon on the tower.
