This is a fun mission, but it has an overwhelming number of bonus objectives. Your first task should be to rescue the engineers to the southwest. There will be a number of infantry and another tripod. Use the commando to mow down the infantry, then knock down the tripod. Once rescued, put your engineers into their own group. Move to the east keeping the engineers a tad behind, saving the GDI hiding in the buildings from the buzzers. When rescued, put them with your engineers to protect them, and continue a little to the south. Capture the command post to enable your radar, then head east and capture the GDI base. Restore the husk of a tripod by using an engineer along the way. It's a good use of an engineer to gain such a powerful weapon. Let it stand next to your war factory to be repaired. Keep an eye out for other such opportunities.
The base will serve as a good center of operations to rescue remaining GDI and capture other buildings. As the commando is so powerful, you don't need much more in the way of killing infantry. What you need is armor. A number of APCs (12 or so, 4 engineers, 8 missile squads), as well as a few predator tanks, should accompany the Commando to the southwestern corner of the map. Use an engineer to capture the building there, then push north. It is important that during this time you do not leave your base undefended. A few sniper squads, some predators and APCs are good. Keep your moving force together as you make your way further north toward the power plant. Capture it with an engineer when the zone is safe. Avoid going into the base just now! Keep your numbers up by staying south of it. Once that area is secure and the sonic emitters are online, head northeast with your army and activate the second array. The base will be for the most part pinned. Head east to rescue the final team, then push west and crush the weakened base. Capture it or blow it up with the commando.
