If you have a decent fleet left over from the previous battle you shouldn't have too much trouble knocking out the keepers who attack you from the beginning. Use your corvettes and interceptors to attack the drones. Ion cannons and anything capable of hurting a big ship should focus on one keeper at a time. They'll vanish at around 50% hit points. When all of them are destroyed the Bentusi will arrive and offer to repair the dreadnought.

While you move the dreadnought to dock with the Bentusi ship, reinforce your fleet with whatever you feel is appropriate. I recommend focusing on anti-corvette and capital ship ships. You will be fighting more keepers, as you might expect. Naturally you will want to get your resource collectors to work. There are plenty of minerals dead ahead of your fleet.

Around the time that the dreadnought docks for repairs to the phase cannon, the Keepers will attack in force. You'll be required to fend them off in great number. Sometimes you fight up to five keepers at once. Remember - focus your fire! Replace lost ion cannon frigates because they are fodder but extremely useful against the enemy. If one of your capital ships (carrier, destroyer) gets damaged use your resource collectors to repair it. In all likelihood they won't be harvesting long before they are chased off by the keepers.

It will be a long ten minutes but when the countdown is finally up you'll once again have control of the dreadnought. This thing is truly a beast with the phase cannon working. It can take down keepers really quickly and the mission will become much easier at that point. After a few more minutes of fighting the mission will end with the Bentusi sacrificing themselves and giving up their core. It's sad considering that was the last of the Bentusi but hey.. a core.
