Brighton Beach: Ride of the Red Menace

Mission Objectives:
  • Eliminate the Soviets in Brighton
  • Hold out against the incoming Soviets
  • Garrison four civilian structures
  • Repair the coastal guns
  • Repel the Soviet navy

    You start with plenty of peacekeepers to kill off the conscripts holding brighton beachYour first task is to use a starting army of four peacekeepers and two attack dogs to liberate the city. It is not hard, just select them all and put them in a group. You'll then roam about killing the conscripts and war bears that are attacking the city. Your army size should grow as you rescue more peacekeepers. Once they're all dead, you'll gain control of a small base with a barracks and refinery.


    Once you've got control, train an engineer first to send to the south and into the hospital to capture it. You can also take your existing peacekeepers to the four designated buildings to garrison them. Spread them out because later you can put some anti-air/armor in with them to make them stronger. Train a half dozen more peacekeepers, but otherwise save your money. The soviets will airdrop in several small groups of soldiers, which your garrisons should have no trouble taking out.


    The objective to hold out against the Soviets should now be complete. Your next task is to repair the coastal guns. Send two engineers asap to capture the two closest to your base. Your co-commander can handle the other two. Tell them to capture them by clicking the glowing spot near the beach between the eastern cannons. Meanwhile, train javelin soldiers back at your base. Put a couple into each of the buildings you've garrisoned for good measure, then work on making a mobile group to respond to threats. A healthy mixture of peacekeepers and javelins should work nicely.

    The cannons on the beach will help to soften up the approaching soviet fleetWhen you can build a war factory, you'll be set to make IFVs. They'll be great at helping during the next phase. The Soviets will eventually bring in a real navy but it'll be wiped out by the bombers. Use your IFVs to take out the remaining Kirov airships and you'll be finished.
