Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 Walkthrough
Tokyo Harbor: Forever Sets the Sun
Mission Objectives:Your first goal of this mission is to destroy the imperial blockade. The best way to do this is with air. Research the max clearance upgrade, and while that's going make three guardian tanks at each of your armor facilities. Compliment them with four javelin soldiers from each of your boot camps. When your units start coming out, immediately begin hitting the turrets that are trying to deploy near your base. Six century bombers should be created, hotkeyed in groups of two. Take the advanced aeronautics upgrade then set one of your guardian tanks to target painter mode to make bulidings and units die faster.
Once the beach is secure, start sending out your century bombers in teams of two. Start with the nearby turrets, then work your way to the shipyards. It takes a while but gives you some good experience using century bombers. One quirk they have is the lack of return to base hotkey that vindicators have. To counter this, set them to attack a second target by alt-clicking. That way, if they don't expend their bombs on the first target they will hit a second instead of circling the ruins.
The countdown will wind down to zero. Wait until just after the cutscene where the Soviets snub you (not where Krukov speaks). Your credits will run to zero. Sell as many buildings as you can after they hit zero, except for the construction yard. Don't forget there's a seaport and expansion base up north you can cash in on. The empire will fire off its psionic decimator and destroy everything but your MCV. Repair it and the oil derrick while you wait on the chronosphere.
Use the chronosphere to transport your packed MCV to the location to the northeast that is designated by a green beacon. Select the MCV then the spot of ground to do this. When you've transported and unpacked, you'll gain an additional 20,000 credits. I ended up with just over 28,000 total. Build a power plant first, then two airfields.
Your bombing runs will continue here, but you should work on having four teams. Make your refineries while the bombers are being made, along with an additonal power plant and an armor facility. The armor facility can already build mirage tanks. Make about four extra, along with a dozen multigunner IFVs. Athena cannons help too, but it's more important to get your anti-air out there.
When your bombers are done, start sending teams of two toward the base to the southwest. Hit the turrets first, then the military production buildings. Four centuries should be used at one against their construction yard as soon as you feel safe to do so. When the base is mostly wiped, you can mop up the units on the ground and in the air with the mechanized army you created.
Make a prospector and grab the ore mine that you just liberated. Leave a few mirage tanks and about six IFVs here to guard the spot. Back at your base, work toward making an even larger ground force consisting of dozens of units (your choice, I love lots of mirage and IFVs here). At least three Athenas coming along will help them to hit any targets from long range.
Use your century bombers to hit the turrets west of your base that are guarding the psionic decimator. When the place is pretty safe, send in a land army to finish it off. Creep forward and let your athenas do most of the work, focusing on any opposition that comes toward you. When the decimators are gone, you're in much better shape. The next goal should be to the west. Again, send your centuries and bomb the hell out of their defenses. Reinforce your land army and roll over the northwestern base.
Now use the century bombers to destroy anti-air to the south of your base on the long stretch of land that leads to the docks. You may take some losses here but the amount of income you have should more than make up for them. When you're able, hit the docks then do the same tactic to take out the island base just north of your co-commander's location.
