Witch's Potion Walkthrough
What you need: Eye of Newt (port sarim magic shop), Rat tail (only obtainable after quest starts), burnt meat and an onion.
The Quest Reward: 325 Magic XP and 1 Quest Point
This quest takes place in Rimmington, which is a small village just southwest of Port Sarim. On your way there, buy a single eye of newt from the magic shop of Port Sarim.
Talk to Hetty the Witch in her house in Rimmington. Tell her you're in search of a quest, and that you'd like to strengthen your darker side. She'll tell you the ingredients you need to make her potion.
If you already have the eye of newt you won't have any trouble here. Head east outside the village and kill a giant rat. It will drop some rat meat. Now you can take it to the stove in Rimmington and cook it. If you actually cook it just use it on the stove again to burn it. Take care not to accidentally eat it, though.
The rat tail is also fairly easy, as there are several rats in the archery shop of Rimmington. Kill one and it will drop a rat's tail. Take it. Now you just need one more ingredient.
Just head to the field north of Rimmington. There're two fields, one of which is full of onions. Pick one of them and return to Hetty the witch. Talk to her, then drink from the cauldron to get your reward.
