Mission 5: Operation Clones Down Under

Mission Objectives:
  • Find and Destroy Yuri's Cloning Facilities.
  • Destroy Yuri's Remaining Forces.

    You must must have a navy on this map. Even though you don't need to cross any bodies of water to get to your target Yuri is sending his boomer submarines which can launch missiles very far onto your land structures. Destroyers are a must. That's all I built, lots of a destroyers (two groups of about five). That did fine at taking down any threat the boomer submarines posed. Hold off on constructing harriers until your Korean allies allow you to build Black Eagles. They're better and cost exactly the same. As is pointed out to you, Sydney is a city and Yuri has many buildings garrisoned. I mowed most of the buildings down in the city with prism tanks. I then brought a mixed force of infantry, two prism tanks (to kill those psychics at long range) and two battle fortresses with 1 chrono legionnaire, 1 SEAL and three guardian GIs inside. Yuri's base was very easy. Just target the bothersome units with your prism tanks before they get too close - psychics, chaos drones etc. I really didn't have a lot of trouble with this mission, it just too me a while.
