World of Warcraft Screenshots

I've had a lot of fun playing World of Warcraft. In fact, I'm certain it will remain one of my favorite games for years to come. What makes WoW so fun is that it is an immersive game that you can play with other people. As with any good MMO, you are able to step outside the real world and become a part of another. There are many rude and ignorant people in this "dream world" but there are also many great friends to be made. Many of my screenshots here come from my old guild Odin's Bloodline. We've since moved on to form the guild Blessed Silence, but I'll always remember the early days of Odin's Bloodline as both fun and exciting.

Some of my friends have moved on, and may never return. Such is life when your friendships are based on a game, but good screenshots, like pictures in reality, can help us to remember our friends and the fun times we had with them.

Sainte and Arkon get down!
I love screenshots when people are dancing, especially as Arkon is, half-naked wearing his wizard hat. But when you put a beautiful like thing like Sainte into the picture it is even better.
The bear dance is one of the coolest in world of warcraft, but honestly the moonkin doing the pop is better.
We had fun in Blackrock depths. We were all in a good mood, and the great anvil seemed like a nice spot to take a break and dance.
The cat dance just isn't as good as the other druid dances.
Um tries to show us the cat dance, but it's not very impressive as he warned us. Thankfully Lorthanis and Sainte are there to show us some Night Elf moves.
The Emerald Dragon whelp from Dragon's Call
Believe me, I have never been happier than back when Dragon's Call dropped for me from Sunken Temple. That sword was tough, the little dragon did more damage than me for the short time he was summoned.
We Be kings, but of what I don't know.
Here we are in Blackrock Depths again. This was a fun group shot, sitting in the chairs as though we were kings. My friend Silencr is there, and he is cloaked just as he is in most other screenshots he's in.
A close-up of the Emerald Dragon Whelp
This is a better shot of the Whelp from Dragon's Call. He popped out at random on attack and did over 700 dmg to the enemy. That was nice. It didn't happen often, but back then 700 dmg was a lot more than it is today.
Fiery Enchant
Fiery is still one of my favorite weapon glow enchantments in World of Warcraft, but the damage it did gradually became less and less significant. Too bad.
A tauren?!
This one time I made a horde and thought I'd try it out. I didn't get far, I missed my guildmates.
The venerable Thorsthunder
Here's Thorsthunder, back in the day. He was a great guildmaster. Too bad he left, maybe he'll come back some day.
A clown? No! Tyrlena!
Good grief your equipment can look abyssmal in this game. I always had decent eq as I played, but sometimes it just came out looking pathetic. How deceptive for my enemies.
You cannot imagine the sorrow of being locked inside stratholme all alone.
I took this one while I was waiting on Thor, Silencr and Lorthanis to show up and help me in Stratholme. This was a fun shot, Tyrlena weeping with an army of undead behind her.
We got our revenge on those undead scum, though
Thankfully my guild arrived and we really kicked some butt. I took this one when we were on a brief break. Thormonger joined us too. I learned it can be a beautiful thing having 2 hunters in one party.
Baron Rivendare charges us, the fool.
We smacked Rivendare around real neat like. It was a fun fight, but no one got his mount, which everyone wanted (Thor in particular).
Ahh, the beautiful night sky of Azeroth
I like flying shots. I like flying, too. It's better now in Outland with my own flying mount, but the Azerothian sky is more beautiful (although less trippy).
Damn those devilsaurs!
I loved leveling in Un'Goro crater, but really hated being harassed by Devilsaurs. Now no matter what I'm doing in Un'Goro, I stop to kill one every chance I get. They're a cakewalk.
Look at that ocean!
World of Warcraft's graphics may be a tad dated, but they still manage to impress. This is a particularly beautiful screenshot. Possibly even worthy of a desktop background. It's 1024x768 if you want to give it a shot.
