Civ 5 Information, Articles, and Strategies for New Players
My Civilization 5 Guide is an ongoing project. I write many game walkthroughs, and keep coming back to Civ 5. As I do, I'll add new info and articles to help my fellow strategy gamers. This will primarly help newcomers to the game, but experienced players may find help and information here and there. I encourage you to email me your tips to improve this guide. Tell me of your favorite civilizations to use for a certain strategy, tips to improving your economy and any information that you think would be helpful to newbies and I'll likely include it in this guide.

A simple page that has a load of information that'll be helpful to new players. A simple tips page might be all you need to start playing on a higher difficulty. Look here to see the tips I've published and consider emailing me new info you think could be helpful.
Civilization 5 Leader/Civ Guide
A list of Civs and their Leaders with the specials buildings, units and civ-specific powers they receive. Links to in-depth articles about all Leaders/Civs in the game.
City States
Learn about City States, a new addition to Civilization 5. This guide will teach you about the various types and how they will help your empire to grow and become more powerful.
Resources
A list of resources in Civilization 5. Learn about tile improvements, luxury and strategic resources. This guide will help you to see what resources are really worth going to war for, and how much production, happiness, gold, and food each will bring to your cities.
Specialists and Great People
Learn how specialists work in Civilization 5, and how you can use them to spawn Great Scientists, Engineers, Artists, and Merchants. Some Civs are better than others for this task -- a Civ with the right specialist allocation can produce early wonders in a single turn, and experience many many golden ages and cultural booms.
Cultural Victory
Learn about the Cultural victory condition and how you can beat the game with this scenario. Includes tips to improving your civ's cultural output and info on what you might do to speed up the process.
Space Race Victory
Learn about the Space Race victory condition. Your goal is to be the first to leave the planet, which implies technological superiority. To do that, you'll need a load of science to be the first to get the tech, and production cities to make your space ship parts.
Diplomatic and Domination victory articles will come as soon as I get to it. I have not pur down Civ 5 yet, and will gradually expand this guide. Aside from forums, there's not a great deal of info on Civ 5 on the net, so I chose to release this in an unfinished state to help as many players as I could.
